Congratulations to the Halls!
We'd like to send a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Marcie and Garrett on their recent marriage - April 19th, 2008 - and thank them for including Lilywillow Paper & Press on their team of wedding experts! With the beautiful planning and coordination by Pam Barefoot of A Trendy Wedding and Anne and Bill Holland of Holland Photo Arts for the stunning photography, we are so pleased to share the "stationery" element of this beautiful day.
Working in a custom design capacity with Marcie and Garrett was a wonderful experience, especially with their clear vision, gorgeous southern locale, and emphasis on all the delicate details. The Hall wedding stationery suite incorporated both rich and baby blues with a natural and organic feel - inspired by the historic Tuckahoe Plantation located right outside of Richmond, Virginia. Provided with the perfect setting for their vow exchange, Marcie and Garrett went for a fun, flirtatous, family (and friend) oriented event. The only element missing...their sweet pup Kylie which was lovingly included on their invitations...dancing in the grass at the base of the huge Oak tree they wed beneath.
The tented reception transformed into a sunny yellow, peach, pink, and chocolate dream, mirroring the gorgeous sunset backdrop! With custom cocktails, a seated dinner, dessert bar, and s'more fest by the fire at the end of the night, the happy couple and contented guests danced the night away. We were so pleased to be a part of their wedding planning process and are even more pleased to share the beautiful stationery that accompanied this very special day!
